SUMMARY Responsible for the direct supervision of the Tool and Die department, supports design and development of gauges, tools, jigs, dies and fixtures utilized in the manufacturing of product and for quoting. Identifies and communicates problems and possible solutions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Responsible for overseeing personnel in constructing, maintaining, and modifying dies, machines and tooling.
• Takes part in development, adjustment, and constructing of tools, dies and machines.
• Responsible for personnel and day-to-day operations of the tool and die department.
• Uses problem-solving abilities to support production and maintenance departments.
• Support all company goals.

WHAT YOU NEED

• Tool and Die design experience
• Previous experience as a Tool and Die Maker and managing employees
• Knowledge and use of all machines and equipment used in making dies, jigs, and fixtures,
• Experience with budgets and performance evaluations

Education/Experience: At least 10 years' experience in a related field. Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance. Possess journeyman Tool and Die certificate or similar education.
